Product update: A blockbuster year in 2024, and more to come in 2025

Recapping a brilliant year across 2024

The entire Intellischool team have put in a mammoth effort throughout 2024 to release a host of brilliant new features. Here’s a lightning-quick recap of some of our 2024 product highlights:

📝 Multi-curricula performance data along the same scale
Delivered June 2024
Redesign of our Indicators page to allow for multiple curricula to be presented simultaneously.

🔎 Criterion / item-based analysis
Delivered June 2024
Analyse assessment performance by individual criterion using the Moderation dashboard in Curriculum. Assessments using grading rubrics can be analysed and performance can be compared at a more granular level by selecting a single criterion.

🐋 Curriculum mapping for Schoolbox
Delivered July 2024
Drawing from the curriculum codes schools map to assessment rubric criteria, schools can now visualise student performance against a state, national or custom curriculum.

🔔 Scheduled Pulse alerts and general Pulse improvements
Delivered September 2024
These Pulse updates included date range selection, and the ability to schedule Pulse alert delivery.

📊 ‘Quick insights’ and new indicators
Delivered September 2024
The Learner Profile received a range of new Quick Insights and longitudinal indicators of performance.

🅰️ Descriptive grade builder, DIBELS and new ACER analysis charts
Delivered October 2024
This update improved the detail of information for DIBELS and ACER users and made building your descriptive grade scales simpler. In Standardised testing, you'll find a new chart for comparing students in a cohort by scaled score.

Looking ahead to a feature-filled 2025

It might be just about time for a well-deserved holiday break, but the Intellischool Product team have their eyes firmly on the prize for 2025! Here are a few of the features you can look forward to in 2025:

📊 ACER band expectation levels
January 2025
Schools will be able to define expectation levels by band and year level for ACER tests, which will influence visualisations for ACER results across the dashboards.

🔀 Mix and match your dashboards
January 2025
Schools will be able to pick which dashboards to make available for each year level.

👋🏼 In-app user tours and support
January 2025
New users and new features will be supported by simple guided tours with helpful hints and tooltips.

🐉 Komodo integration
ETA Q1 2025
Schools will be able to integrate Komodo data to be able to compare student voice data to other types of engagement and performance data.

🏫 Cohort Indicators improvements
ETA Q1 2025
This update will significantly revamp the cohort indicators to better display the range of performance across all assessment types for the cohort. New ‘Quick insights’ will also draw out patterns, risks, and 'discordances' in performance data. Pastoral record types pulled from the LMS or SIS will also be visualised for change over time.

📈 Cohort Relative growth improvements
ETA Q1 2025
This update will introduce new ways of calculating performance for comparison to better suit small groups of students and curriculum-based grading scales. ‘Quick insights’ will draw out data discordances and risks for the cohort and the individual student.

👨‍🎓 Learner Relative growth improvements
ETA Q1 2025
You’ll now be able to anaylse growth in assessment performance grouped by Literacy, Numeracy and Curriculum Area, and view results at the time they're recorded (rather than a semesterised view).

🧬 Administrator user analytics
ETA Q2 2025
Users with administrator permissions will be able to analyse the degree to which the analytics is being used by features and user groups.

💬 Personalised curriculum recommendations
ETA Q2 2025
The provision of teaching activities to support an individual student's growth based on a range of performance indicators from a range of data sources.

🛬 Landing page improvements
ETA Q2 2025
These updates will involve improved and more intuitive search functionality, the ability to analyse historical classes, and whole-school analytics for Principal class users.
