For many schools who calculate academic awards, the process can involve a substantial amount of work in checking and re-checking results across numerous different locations. We've put together a quick video to walk you through using the Cohort profile to cut down time spent on this process, and to act as a valuable, comprehensive data point to confirm award winners.
Note: What you'll see in the below video applies to users of our Performance Analytics - primarily secondary schools.
⚠️ Before you watch!
There are a couple of points you'll need to bear in mind when looking at the Cohort Performance report to support confirmation of your academic awards:
- We recommend that you choose the relevant year level from the Cohort Picker first, and then choose the appropriate subject from the drop-down menu on the Performance tab to see the most accurate view of student rankings. Depending on your LMS, choosing the subject from the Cohort Picker may not pull in results across both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
- If you have a composite class across multiple year levels, you'll need to go into each relevant year level individually from the Cohort Picker to determine the highest rank.
